Frequently Asked Questions

For standard products (paving slabs, kerbstones, tiles), the minimum order is typically 1 LCL shipment (approximately 5–8 tonnes). For custom fabricated products (countertops, sculptures, custom shapes), there is no strict minimum but smaller quantities may affect unit pricing. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Send us your enquiry via the Contact page or email with the following details: stone type and colour, dimensions and quantity, surface finish, destination port and required delivery date. We will respond with a quotation within 24 hours on business days.

Standard payment terms are 30% deposit by T/T (bank transfer) to confirm the order, with the 70% balance paid before shipment. For established buyers, we can offer 30% deposit with 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading. Letter of Credit (L/C) is accepted for orders above USD 50,000.

Yes. We strongly encourage buyers to request samples before committing to a bulk order. We can ship samples (typically 30×30 cm tiles or small slabs) by DHL or FedEx. Sample cost is charged at cost price and is refundable against your first bulk order. Please contact us to arrange samples.

We ship by sea freight in 20ft or 40ft containers (FCL) or as LCL (groupage) for smaller orders. Stone is packed in foam-lined wooden crates or on pallets with corner protection and moisture barriers. We ship from Qingdao and Shanghai ports.

Typical transit times: Europe (25–35 days), USA East Coast (28–35 days), USA West Coast (18–25 days), Australia (18–25 days), Middle East (15–22 days), Southeast Asia (7–15 days). These are approximate and depend on the shipping line and port of destination.

Yes. We prepare all standard export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin (CO), phytosanitary certificate (for wooden packaging), test reports and CE declaration of performance (for EU projects). We can also arrange SGS or Bureau Veritas pre-shipment inspection on request.

Shipping costs depend on the destination, volume and current freight rates. We quote CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) or FOB (Free on Board, Qingdao/Shanghai) depending on your preference. Please include your destination port in your enquiry and we will include freight in the quotation.

Yes. Shandong Kingstone Co., Ltd. is ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management systems covering all production and export operations. We can provide a copy of our ISO certificate on request.

Yes. Our paving products meet EN 1341 (slabs), EN 1342 (setts) and EN 1343 (kerbstones) standards. We can provide CE declarations of performance and test reports for these product categories. For other products, we can provide test reports to ASTM or EN standards on request.

Yes. We welcome third-party pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), Intertek or any other inspection company of your choice. We will coordinate access to our factory and provide all necessary documentation. The cost of inspection is borne by the buyer.

We issue a photographic inspection report for every shipment. If a confirmed manufacturing defect is identified on arrival, we will replace the affected pieces or issue a credit note, at our discretion. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of arrival with photographic evidence. Normal natural variation in colour and veining is not considered a defect.
