About Zhangpu Blue Basalt
Zhangpu Blue Basalt is quarried in Zhangpu County, Fujian Province — one of China's most significant basalt-producing regions. Unlike standard black basalt, Zhangpu Blue has a characteristic blue-grey tone that becomes more pronounced when wet or polished. The stone has a very fine, homogeneous grain with excellent physical properties. It is widely used in high-end landscape architecture, luxury hotel exteriors, pool surrounds, and feature walls.
