Black Slate is the most widely exported Chinese slate variety, prized for its deep, consistent black tone and fine, even cleavage that produces naturally flat, smooth surfaces. Quarried in Hebei and Shanxi provinces, it is used across a wide range of applications from roofing tiles and floor tiles to wall cladding, pool surrounds, and landscape paving.
